4Spaces coaching

Leading bespoke projects is often a lonely vocation in which leaders struggle with the challenge of standing back, taking stock, and making the space to review the strategic decisions that will set the future course of their projects in an increasingly fluid and demanding environment.4Spaces Coaching aims to fill this gap by providing “expert care for those who care.” Charities often miss out on expertise which is routinely available in larger organisations, particularly around strategic planning, problem solving, effective decision making, developing personal resilience, and with training and personal development - most significantly in the areas of management, leadership, talent recognition, change and communication. 4spaces aims to attract a pool of funding which will enable projects to access coaching and team support

Divine Expressions

Divine Expressions is the solo ministry that portrays the life of Jesus Christ, through the visual art forms of dance, drama and mime. The vision of the project is to communicate the love of God to all people, regardless of their background, culture or faith, by involving them in artistic creative and physical activities that allow them to explore faith and spirituality. I also seek to encourage people within the wider church to discover worship in fresh and creative ways.

Hesed at Mayfield Farm

Keith and Anna Nichols renovated a house and barn which used to be a farm but which now sits next to a Large shopping centre and housing estate in Seacroft (East Leeds) which is mostly Council Housing and ranked in the top 10% most deprived areas in the country. From this base they run activities to promote well-being and community cohesion, building relationships which help people to come out of isolation, gain confidence and improve their mental health. These include a Monthly munch meal, film showings, craft sessions, and an Art Exhibition for charity. They recently converted the garage into a Men’s Shed with tools and workspaces for local men to make or mend things and have a place to talk and develop their skills.

Hunslet Initiative

This well-established project works hard to bring positive change for individuals and the wider community, by providing positive activities for children, teens and young adults across inner-South Leeds. They believe in the potential of this community and are committed to delivering outstanding activities, nurturing relationships and empowering individuals to do their best. They run after school clubs, small group work, sports activities, and regular trips. Their long term commitment through one-to-one mentoring has seen many previously disengaged young people develop and make good choices, going on to college and work.

Leeds Christian Community Trust

LCCT is here to enable, encourage and support Christians, working in unity and in mission, to pursue their dreams and visions and make a positive difference in Leeds. We do this by providing a legal and support structure to allow projects to focus on what they're passionate about, without forcing them to deal with the bureaucratic pressures normally associated with setting up a new initiative.

Current projects include Sanctuary Suppers, Schools of Sanctuary, and Sanctuary in the Arts, and recently they have partnered with a local University to run a week of events during Refugee Awareness Week.
